Stained Glass Class

A few weeks ago a co-worker of mine suggested getting our department together on an upcoming Saturday for a "stained glass class" given by her sister-in-law. I said yes right away as it was something I always wanted to try! We had the choice between a snowflake and a star and we unanimously agreed on the star (since we'd be able to keep it up all year round!)

The big day finally rolled around and it was so.much.fun!

The class lasted about 3 hours and it really flew by! Good laughs, great company and our teacher was great! I highly recommend Trifolium Stained Glass to all my local peeps!

The best part was seeing how we all came up with original ideas for our star. These were our finsihed products:

(mine is the second from the top)

It was a great way to start the weekend and a great way to spend time with people from work outside of the office!

WIN a crown from The Unicorn's Princess!

“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales." -Albert Einstein

I've known Ashley for a long time now... it's been years since we met through our blogs and we instantly adored each other. She is just such a beautiful soul... full of life and if we ever met in person, I'd be surprise if she didn't actually glow!

The years have brought a lot of changes for us, and now she's the mastermind behind The Unicorn's Princess... handmade beautiful, intricate and darling copper wire crowns for kids & adults alike! It's so inspiring!

Ruby LOVES her peacock crown... and when her little cousin Piper comes over to visit, she wears the gypsy goddess. What little girl doesn't want (or deserve) to feel like royalty. Just the other day, I finally got around to photographing them in all their glory! They felt like real life princesses!

Ashley is kind enough to give you the chance to WIN one of her crown's (winner's choice!)... you can gift it to a special little one in your life or keep it for yourself!

Good luck!
