Our Trip To Omega Park

Yesterday, I"m sure my kids thought I was the best mom ever. Even more than usual, of course... *wink*

And this is why...

Last month, I took advantage of my first ever Groupon deal and bought day pass tickets to Omega Park.  We've been wanting to go forever it seems, but kept deciding against.  Saving $8 per ticket was too good a deal to pass up AND I knew we'd have to use the tickets before the end of April.
Because we waited until the last possible minute to go, and with a weekend forecast that was a little iffy (rain!) we decided to take the day off work & pull the kids out of school and surprise them with the trip!

Omega Park allows for an up close & personal experience with North American Animals.  With a kid obsessed with deer & moose, I knew Memphis would be thrilled... at the very least.  Well, the park did not disappoint!  We had a wonderful day together as a family!  The kids were so excited!  We couldn't have asked for a better day together!

For my local friends, if you haven't been yet, it's definitely worth it!!  I think we'll plan another trip to go in the winter!

  3. I'm glad to see I am not the only grown woman to take a pic of animals, ahem, mating. I did that at the Cape May Zoo in NJ & my husband was mortified that I did! Fuddy duddy!

  7. Oh my word! You seriously ARE the best mom ever for taking your kids here! This kind of park looks soo much better than going to a zoo; the animals seem much more free to roam and live. And I totally bust out laughing at the "humping" pic haha! I'm so happy you linked up so I could learn more about you and your blog! P.S. Your husband has the raddest beard ever. Over and out :)
