Punta Cana : part 2 :

Did you check out yesterday's recap of my recent trip to Punta Cana?

I have to admit... relaxing is... hard.
I mean, I don't know about you... but it just doesn't happen very often in "real life."  With a full-time job, 2 kids, the photography on the side, blogging, housework, etc... there isn't really time to just do nothing.

But I got pretty good at it!  *wink*
We would get up around 8:00, quietly get ready for the day (usually consisting of a quick shower & deciding on which swimsuit to wear that day), have breakfast and then make our way to the beach.  Most days we'd spend about 3-4 hrs sunning, playing in the surf, reading, listening to the waves & the funny conversations of other vacationers nearby.  When we started to get hungry, we'd grab lunch and then either head back to the room for a bit, or explore more of the resort (ie. grab a few more drinks).  Another quick shower, and we'd be ready for dinner.

After dinner, there was always something to do.  A show, karaoke, Superbowl party, beach BBQ party, etc.  Not for a lack of entertainment, the Majestic really knows how to treat their guests!

Did you check out my post on my vacation style?

Tomorrow I'll share pics & talk about the excursion we took off the resort! It involves coffee AND squirrel monkeys!

  2. Beautiful beautiful photos! You've got me excited for my holiday now!! But I'm not sure how 'relaxing' it will be. We're going to Florida for two weeks in May so they'll be lots of visiting theme parks, shopping and trying to make the most of our first time in America!
