I have a love/hate relationship with Sears.
I love the ease of the catalogue & online ordering (have I mentioned I live in the middle of nowhere!?), but I hate the fact that I can almost NEVER actually find what I'm looking WHEN I actually need it.
Recently, a local photographer announced she would be having holiday-themed mini sessions. A one-day only, limited spots kind of thing. I've admired her work, and knew there was no way my kids were going to sit still long enough for me to get decent photos of them for our Christmas cards this year. I jumped at the chance to get in for one of her sessions.
Unfortunately, I only had a week to figure out what the kids were going to wear. I didn't think I'd have the chance to get to the city before the shoot, so I decided to check out Sears... and I'm happy I did. I ordered this dress and this shirt/vest/tie set (already sold out) for Memphis on Tuesday and it was delivered on Saturday. We picked up our parcel only an hour or so before our session.
Luckily, everything fit and the kids looked as cute as buttons. They're also wear these outfits on Christmas day, so it's not like I bought them just for the pictures... *wink*
