wear :: casual easter style ::

Blouse & Jeans: Urban Planet // Shoes: KangaROOS via Zappos
Bracelets: Ardene and Neon & Nude via The Life of the Wife
Easter dinner is usually a pretty casual affair for us.
I like to dress up a little, but I have to be practical too.  It was cold this year and my parents live on an old farm, so it was muddy.  I had "planned" to wear a cute dress and some high boots... but Mother Nature nixed that idea!

Instead, I threw on an old pair of jeans, a bright & festive blouse & my comfiest shoes.
Ta Da!  An oldie but a goodie.  Everything I'm wearing, I've had for years...
and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited it all still fits!

What did you wear for Easter this year?

  1. Sometimes you do have to go with what the weather allows you to wear. I did wear a new dress this year...and I was only slightly freezing. The winter coat helped. I love the setting for your pictures!

I wore jeans for Easter as well, it's so much more practical when you're wrangling children all day! haha

  9. Love the outfit and the makeup Lena. I'll be honest that I made no special effort for easter (in fact if I recall there was lots of sports gear and trackpants). Thanks for sharing with WW xo

  12. The color of your blouse is so wonderful! It looks great on you, and you should definitely be excited that it still fits! I wore what I wore last year....and maybe even the year before that....it's a white v neck dress with a kind of large abstract floral print in red. Because it was chilly here in the morning, I added a red cardigan. I have some really cute canvas wedge shoes that are open toe and with a strap around the back so that the heel is open (I'm sure there is a word for that, but I don't know it) but halfway through the long morning at church, those came off, and the red houseshoes went on! Maybe Easter will be warmer next year, surely it won't be so early again......

  15. I'm the same way! Sometimes I wish our Easter was an occasion to wear a pretty sundress and what not. But it's usually spent in the mountains at my parent's house which is cold and more low key.
