Some of you know that I dabble in photography over at Lena B Photography.
I usually post about my sessions there, but I wanted to share my very first cake smash session here today because... well, it was too darn cute NOT to share. :)
It was thrown together at the last minute, so I wasn't prepared with any fancy backdrops... but the little lady's mama is pretty crafty and threw together a tutu, headband & cake in no time.
Little Avery was adorable. Apprehensive at first, but it didn't take long for her sweet tooth to kick in & she really went for it!
I really wish I would have thought to do something like this when my kids turned one.
I have the usual sitting in the highchair covered in cake pics... but this session was so much fun & such a great keepsake!
I definitely hope to do more in the future!

If it weren't for the whole 9 months, labor, and then growing up part, I'd love to have another baby just for the pictures. Ummm, should I mention that my kids are 16, 17, 17, 19, and 25? LOL
I was at a first birthday party on Saturday and we had a pretty fun cake smash to watch. The little lady of the hour went nuts. She ended up with chocolate icing all over her head and face. Too fun.
