To The Max :: copycat ::

I've been wanting to
a) find a way to style my maxi skirt for the winter
b) link up with Carly & Mary for their Copycat Linkup

Today is the day for both, and this was my inspiration...

I incorporated color, stripes & a chunky scarf for a more ''dressier'' look.
That's about the extent of the similarities, I suppose!
I love getting inspiration online or in a magazine and realizing that there are a million different ways to style what I already have in my closet... perfect for a lady on a self-imposed spending freeze!!

Yesterday on my blog I winterized a maxi but I think I like yours better than mine! Love how you belted the cardigan!

You know, I never look at models or magazines for inspiration, but looking at this outfit you put together, I'm starting to think I might just have to give the copy cat thing a go!

You look great.

Okay, so apparently I haven't been around in simply forever! Your hair looks fabulous, girl!! Lovin' the maxi, too! =)

Love this! I always try to do a cardigan with a maxi and feel so boxy, but I'd never thought to add a belt -- it's perfect!

Thanks for linking up, friend! xo

Great job using the photos as inspiration! You kept the same silhouette and pieces so it totally counts!

I am digging the copycat link up - it cuts the guilt out of directly copying something without acknowledging it. The maxi looks great!
