Virtual Assistant :: Meet Cassie ::

Hey all you Mom2 MemphisAndRuby fans!! I am so excited to be guest posting here on Lena's blog today! Let me introduce myself - I'm Cassie & I blog over at Live.Laugh.L0ve.

Yep, you read that right I am a Virtual Assistant.  You may have heard Lena mention that she had one & now you can put a name with a face. *waves* Working with Lena has been so great and I am so thrilled that she hired me on as her VA. I really just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a few tips on hiring a Virtual Assistant.

1 - Decide if you need one. When trying to figure out if you even need a Virtual Assistant. Ask yourself this:
- Is your inbox overflowing? Are you having a hard time keeping up with the important e-mails? Do you seriously wish all your e-mails would just disappear for a few days?
- Are you spending more time on the computer than you are working on new shop items or living the life you blog about?
- Are you have trouble balancing everything? Do you find yourself saying there are just not enough hours in the day?

Then a VA is probably exactly what you need.

2 - Find out what they offer. This is important. You want to know what your VA is going to be able to do for you. If they don't have a services page - don't be afraid to ask them. After all, you need to know where your money is going. :)

3 - Can you afford one? Make sure to do a little math to see if you can afford a VA. Most Virtual Assistant's offer a wide variety of packages and are willing to work with their clients.

4 - Ask around. So you found a Virtual assistant who offers what you are looking for and within your budget. Ask them to see their testimonials from their clients to see how well they have worked with past clients.

Know that if you hire a VA - a huge weight is going to be lifted off of your shoulders. So, even if you are unsure you need one, just know that the money is completely worth it. Every single one of my clients has told me that they had the weight lifted off their shoulder, that they had no clue how much I was helping them, etc. Because when you get to that point of stress - which makes doing your job or blogging - no fun anymore, then you definitely need some help that way you can fall in love with blogging and working all over again!

Thanks so much Lena for letting me take over your space today & Thank you all for reading! Hugs!!

I never, ever, ever thought I would hire a VA.
Not to sound rude, but I couldn't imagine handing over any part of MY blog to someone else.
I could understand why bloggers with THOUSANDS of followers might need one, but I was just a little blogger doing this as a hobby.

Never say never.
If you've been keeping up with me, you know that I have a lot of crap stuff  going on in my personal life... I LOVE blogging, but was feeling overwhelmed.

I have some amazing sponsors and I didn't feel like I was giving them the attention they needed.  THAT was my #1 worry.  I love having sponsors, I've already made some changes, but I still wasn't doing what I wanted to be doing for them...

Cassie to the rescue!

Seriously, this girl has offered me "virtual" support when I needed it most!
I took a peak at her packages and we decided what she would be able to help me with... and so far, so good!  And as she mentioned in her post above, a tremendous weight has been lifted.
I cannot thank her enough.

Her tips are fabulous... if you think you need a VA, don't put it off. The sooner you get the help you need, the better you'll feel.  Trust me!
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.
{that IS a saying, no? ha!}
