Leigh-Ellen from Little Waterlily, Big Pond is my co-host this week!
Be sure to show her a little love! ♥

Thanks to her wonderful theme suggestion,
we get to share
our favorite Easter moments!
I love, love, love this theme because it can be anything related to Easter!
Your fave moments, photos, recipes, outfits... anything at all relating to Easter this year!

I've decided to go with an Instagram review of my {LONG!!} weekend!

I was a very happy girl last Thursday when I went to the post office and had a parcel waiting for me... my new mug!!
Grace, who blogs over at Betwixxt made it for me and I LOVE it!
The kids think it's a riot that mommy has a mug with her face on it!

The "local" theatre (ie. the nearest to us) had The Lorax matinee playing for $2, so we thought it would be a great chance to bring our niece (and god daughter) Piper to the movies for the first time!
She did great and we all LOVED it!

Ruby discovering Audrey Hepburn!
"Oh, Mommy... she's a beautiful sparkly princess!!"

Scoring 2 new-to-me books & a DS game {for Memphis} at our local "variety" shop!

Easter morning, of course!
The kids get more excited every year, and it's so fun to see!
They do a little hunt around the house, and each get a few little treats in their baskets.
It's not much, but they think it's GREAT!

...and we get to dip into their stash of course!
"Peeps! Get in my belly!!"

Winding down Sunday night with
The Virgin Cure
I've had this on loan from the library forever!! It's so embarassing having to keep borrowing it... but I'm going to read it this time, I swear!
I love Ami McKay's first novel "The Birth House", so this is a book I'm really excited about!

and last but not least... because a long weekend isn't complete without a little cleaning...
I finally got around to organizing Ruby's bookshelf... again!  ;)

So, my weekend consisted of kids, movies, candy, food, books & cleaning!
It was great!

  1. I have not read any Ami McKay books, but I am looking for a new book to start. I will have to check my library ;) Looks like a wonderful Easter! We have not seen the Lorax yet, but have heard from several other people that it is good.

  2. I loved, loved The Birth House. Just finished reading it. And one of your "new" book selections, The Lucky One....such a good book. I read it last year sometime, before I knew the movie was coming out....and who was cast. Kind of wish I would have known (all grown up) Zac Efron was going to be in it when I was reading it. ;)

  3. Geez, your organizing skills rock! I could use a little bit of that motivation. I just got The Lucky One this weekend too and I can't wait to read it! Ah! I remember Webkinz. Hahah it was the biggest rage when I volunteered in elementary school. It's been quite awhile since I've seen one!

  4. Ooh, I have The Lucky One downloaded and ready to read on my Nook! I just love Nicholas Sparks books. Thanks for hosting Lena! Have a great Tuesday.

  5. great pictures!

  6. I'm really going to have to try to do one of these posts some day. It seems really fun!

I love the your nail polish!

    Have a great day!!

  7. I had an idea for a theme, not sure if it was done already...10 pieces of your favorite jewelry or accessories?! Just a thought. Love your blog Lena!!

  8. I don't have a blog but just an idea if you want a freebie... How about 10 places you have always wanted to go? Love your blog for inspiration!

  9. Or 10 things that make you happy

I ♥ hearing from you!
Thanks so much for taking the time to write me a little message!
