Nail Art

Okay guys, the other day I splurged and picked up some new nail polish!!
Actually "splurged" is an overstatement.

I picked up a few bottles of the cheap Wet n Wild stuff
{which I totes LOVE by the way... new nail crush!!
easy to apply, wears relatively well, and CHEAP!}

At the same time, I decided I would pick up a box of those
I got the cheetah print one called "Kitty Kitty"
So cute!
But I thought it might look just a tad too "busy" if I went all out and did every nail...
especially during the work week
{could be a very cool party or weekend look, though!}
So I did my ring finger only...
and polished the rest in the perfect nude shade,
Private Viewing
{one of my new wnw polishes!}

We all know I'm not crafty, and I usually suck at this sort of thing...
but I followed to instructions and it was super easy!
Ruby probably could have figured it out!  haha!

So, I kinda LOVED the look.
Kept it all week!
Will definitely do it again, and will probably pick up a few more strips with different patterns!

  2. Ah! I love it! The colors rock together and you can use it so often by only doing one nail at a time. Love it!

  5. I really like your take on the accent nail! I went with a different style accent nail this week. I think it's fun to shake things up.

  8. Ooh nice! I like the idea of one 'wild' nail! I used those strips in the sparkly gold at New Years... They were great for then but might've been too much for normal wear... But this idea would work!

  13. That is a really smart idea. I hated the strips because they were time-consuming - doing an accent nail is just genius!
