Nail Art

Okay guys, the other day I splurged and picked up some new nail polish!!
Actually "splurged" is an overstatement.

I picked up a few bottles of the cheap Wet n Wild stuff
{which I totes LOVE by the way... new nail crush!!
easy to apply, wears relatively well, and CHEAP!}

At the same time, I decided I would pick up a box of those
I got the cheetah print one called "Kitty Kitty"
So cute!
But I thought it might look just a tad too "busy" if I went all out and did every nail...
especially during the work week
{could be a very cool party or weekend look, though!}
So I did my ring finger only...
and polished the rest in the perfect nude shade,
Private Viewing
{one of my new wnw polishes!}

We all know I'm not crafty, and I usually suck at this sort of thing...
but I followed to instructions and it was super easy!
Ruby probably could have figured it out!  haha!

So, I kinda LOVED the look.
Kept it all week!
Will definitely do it again, and will probably pick up a few more strips with different patterns!

  1. How cute! My girls would love that kit.

    Ricki Jill

  2. Ah! I love it! The colors rock together and you can use it so often by only doing one nail at a time. Love it!

  3. Love the combo Lena. We rock the different tone ring finger at our house a lot.

  4. Ohhhh I love the strips on just one nail! Very cute! :)

  5. I really like your take on the accent nail! I went with a different style accent nail this week. I think it's fun to shake things up.

  6. Using a strip as an accent is a GREAT idea! Nicely done!

  7. These are amazing! Love nail art.

    Have tagged you here -

  8. Ooh nice! I like the idea of one 'wild' nail! I used those strips in the sparkly gold at New Years... They were great for then but might've been too much for normal wear... But this idea would work!

  9. I have never thought of using those as an accent! That is super cute. Thanks for sharing. :)

  10. The leopard print are my favorite Sally Hansen nail stickers and I love the look of one finger different - great job!

  11. i like it on just one nail!!! =) I have been afraid to buy those b/c I thought it would be "too much" for me!

  12. Hey Its Cheri from Its so very Cheri. I am following you and if you haven't made your way over to check out please do and follow me back. I also have another post on my site for a give-a-way each week for those who follow me on the new Linky Follower tool.

  13. That is a really smart idea. I hated the strips because they were time-consuming - doing an accent nail is just genius!

I ♥ hearing from you!
Thanks so much for taking the time to write me a little message!
