Staying Afloat!

Ruby has always been a bit of a nervous-nancy when it comes to water.
Especially "swimming" and especially swimming in a big pool...

She'd always have her floaties on, but would literally cling to you the entire time... she just couldn't let go and enjoy the experience as much as you could see she wanted to!

I finally purchased a puddle jumper... and it was the best $20 I've ever spent!
{seriously, LOVE this thing.  if you haven't picked one up yet, I would highly recommend it!}
She finally gained the confidence and independence I've been hoping for!  She LOVED it!

I just wish I would have picked one of sooner...

The look on her face as she was bobbing around the pool was priceless!
She was so proud!
She had such a great time, we couldn't get her OUT of the pool!

This was definitely my simple moment this weekend.
Who would have thought 1 swimming aid could make us all so happy!?

And as promised, I will be announcing an SWEET giveaway tomorrow to celebrate reaching 100 followers...
& here's a sneak peak just for you!

You don't want to miss it!

  2. Wonderful to see so Ruby happy in the water. It's great when we find the right item to help solve a current problem.

  7. My nephew (age 5) was using one of those a few weeks ago and I was amazed at how cool it was!! For a new swimmer who was still a little nervous about going under water, it was perfect for him! A few weeks later, he has abandoned it and is swimming totally on his own. Amazing how quickly they become fish!!
