{wwtk}

It's Wednesday!  Tons 'o Linky Parties happen on Wednesdays! Love it!
You can also find out what I love, and what I wore here & here. ;)

This week Shawn, Impulsive Addict, Janette and Mamarazzi want to know...

{1} You have been asked to give a 10 minute speech to teenage girls. What is it about?
Wow, I just have to think about what I plan on saying to Ruby someday....
Love your yourself. Be confident. Make smart choices. Don't throw yourself at just anybody... remember the decisions you make now affect the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Be a good friend. Look out for each other. Listen to your mother, she really does know what she's talking about!

{2} Do you have a pet?  Tell us about them. No pets?  Why?
Yes. We got a kitty a few weeks ago. His name is Otis, and it's been interesting...

{3} What is the biggest inconvenience about the place you're currently living?
That it's not OURS.  We rent a townhouse.  That also means we share walls with 2 sets of neighbors... which isn't ideal when you have two very loud little kids running around all day.  So far nobody has complained, though!  Phew!

{4} What do you think is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?
Hooking up with this guy (nearly 15 years ago!) and starting a family!

{5} What are the THREE "nevers" of your life?  (things you would never do or have never done)
I will never go bungee jumping or sky diving. That's just crazy.
I will never let my son get a pet snake... even though he thinks he's getting one when he's 10.
I have never pumped my own gas.... okay, that's not entirely true. A month or so ago, I "helped" my mom put $10 of gas in my car, but that's it!

  3. That is so true about young people. They have no concept of long term consquences! They live in the moment and do not realize that one bad choice or stupid stunt could follow them all their lives.

    good speech!

  5. never pumped gas! Really?
How do you get away from that one? Gosh, I guess I could have thought about what I would tell my kids when they are teenagers but I am sure between now and then, so much will change and it will depend on the world around us.. tough one huh!
Thanks for linking up with us!!

  6. Perfectly good airplanes are for stay in, not jumping out of. I would consider it if the plane was not so sound though.
    No snakes around here either.

  7. I can't say I blame you on the snake thing. My kids will be lucky someday if I let them have a puppy...snakes will be a major NO WAY! haha!

  9. I LOVE YOUR ORANGE FURBABY!!!! I went back and read the post you linked to and I have to say as someone who has had a lot of cats - males are better to have than females (so long as you do get them neutered). They're more loveable, females tend to get skittish and not nice as they get older.

The be a good friend and look out for each other is a big one. That is really good advice for girls because I feel like they spend a lot of time being catty and working against each other than for each other!
