Wild Weekend Recap

Okay, so my weekend was far from WILD, but I thought it would entice a few people to take a peak at my  blog!  Ha!  ;)

It wasn't wild, but it was a great weekend!  It started half an hour early since my boss was kind enough to let me leave at 4:00. Her exact words were: "Lena, you NEVER do this!  Go!  Enjoy!"  And by "this" she meant dinner out with friends.  And it's true... sadly.  So off I went!  We had a great time at dinner {East Side Mario's} but I'm not sure what keeps possessing me to order the Sausage and Pepper Penne... it's delish (no doubt!), but it's much spicier than I'm used to and I usually only eat half it before giving up.  I brought my leftovers home for the hubs and even HE thought it was spicy! Haha!

After supper, we went to the mall and I picked up a few things for myself. A couple inexpensive tops at Zellers, some nail polish and a couple new scarves!

One of the tops I got... with an exposed zipper! Love it!

Told you I couldn't resist a polish with a cute name!

Love the look of scarves, just need remember to wear them more often!
I had a great time.  The company was good, the food was great and I came across a couple of deals... what more could I ask for!
(I have to admit I did feel a bit guilty about this "me" time... but the kids were so excited about having a sitter come over I'm sure they didn't even notice I was gone!)

On Saturday I debated about heading out of town to bring the kids to a movie... but the weather forced me inside.  It was gloomy, cold, wet and snowy... yeah, snow in April.  'sigh'  So, we stayed in.  We played some games, watched a movie or two and I got most of my laundry done.  Boring, but... cozy.
Today was a fun day... I had the opportunity to do some maternity shots for my cousin's fiancée and I think they turned out really well!  I took about 100 pictures, and from a quick glance and a bit of editing, there are at least 20 or 30 really good ones.  I will talk to her tomorrow and ask if it would be alright to share a few of them with you!  So much fun!  Okay, I can't wait.  Here's a couple that I'm sure she wouldn't mind me sharing (her head is edited out of these ones - haha!!)... I really hope I can share a couple more with you guys tomorrow!
